Laser and Light Technologies

Laser and light technology is the passion of Dermatologist, Dr Michael Freeman, a love of which he has passed onto the the Dermatologists, Cosmetic Nurses and Laser Technicians working from The Skin Centre.

The Skin Centre now boasts an impressive collection of devices including ablative and non-ablative, fractionated, water, pigment and vascular targeting lasers. We also provide the Dermatologists operating from the practice broad-band light (BBL), photodynamic therapy (PDT) and light emitting diode therapy (LED) so they can provide these services to their patients. Laser and light therapy has applications across the spectrum of dermatology, and apart from their use in cosmetic dermatology, they are also used for the treatment of birthmarks, facial vessels of rosacea and the treatment of sun damaged lips (among many other things).
